About host
Hi, I’m Rebecca-Monique: an ICF accredited (PCC) grief and trauma coach, and coach supervisor. My work is centred around supporting individuals through their healing and growth. 

My specialist areas are grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, sense of Self (identity), boundaries and confidence. My modes of coaching are somatic (i.e. embodied awareness) and transformational (i.e. a focus on attitudes, values, beliefs, behaviours, etc.).

I have particular interests in social sciences and human-centred disciplines, including psychology, psycholinguistics, sociology, spirituality and philosophy. 

I live in London, UK with my son (who is also blessed with the awesomeness that is hyphenated first names!).

Hi, I’m Rebecca-Monique – an ICF accredited coach and coach supervisor – and these are my passing thoughts.

A quick courteous note from me. Thank you for your patience last week. I took an impromptu break to rest and reset. Let’s get into this week’s episode. 

You can gauge whether or not you’re on the right path by examining your responses to these two questions: 

  1. How does it feel? 
  2. How are things unfolding? 

Whether we’re taking stock of a relationship, considering a new job offer, beginning a new project, this simple method, shared by Abraham Hicks via Esther Hicks - an inspirational speaker and channeller – encourages us to reflect from a place of honesty and authenticity. 

Here are some sub-questions questions you may find useful: 

How does it feel?

  • How do you feel before, during and after engaging: do you feel energised or drained; are you eager and excited or are you overcome with dread or disinterest?
  • What is your honest sense of the situation: if your intuition serves you right, what’s it whispering? 

How are things unfolding? 

  • How much resistance or ease are you sensing within yourself? To interact, to complete a task, to move forward. 
  • Are there never-ending, tough hurdles to jump? Are the challenges overshadowing the wins? Or are things almost effortlessly falling into place, right on time?  

My question for you this week is quite simply: 

Are you heading in the right direction or do you need to course-correct?
